Spatial Planning
Spatial planning is a complex field that requires multidisciplinary expertise (urban planners, land use planners, geographers, mobility engineers, economists, planners, big data analysts, environmentalists), all of which are well represented at Stratec, a spatial planning consulting firm.
Overview
We offer assistance in the definition and evaluation of spatial planning projects and sectoral policies (housing, public services, transport and mobility, economy, etc.).
From both a systemic and strategic perspective, we support public authorities in their territorial projects (Masterplans, Regional Development Plans, Municipal Development Schemes, regional-scale plans and programs, etc.).
We also assist private stakeholders in the programming and integration of all environmental aspects into their projects to make them more sustainable.
Land Use - Transport Interactions
Furthermore, we have long-standing expertise in the use of integrated land-use and transport models, and we also study the issue of urban sprawl and its externalities.
