Socio-economics
Our Approach
Stratec provides support to public authorities and public or private companies for infrastructure projects (transport, energy, culture, etc.), services, or policy (regulation, taxation, subsidies, etc.).
Our team conducts economic studies at various scales to assess and quantify the benefits, costs, opportunities, and constraints generated by a project. In particular, Stratec evaluates the impacts of transport projects in terms of modal shift potential and changes in external costs that may result, using surveys, traffic studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
An Experienced Team
Our team comprises about ten economists, mathematicians, and engineers, all specialized in transport economics. With extensive international experience, Stratec operates in Belgium, France, with European institutions, as well as in several countries in Europe and Africa.
For several decades, we have been conducting analyses of projects of all sizes and contributing to the evolution of methods in transport economics through methodological reflections and innovative studies.
