Traffic Forecasts
Traffic studies are market studies adapted to the transport and mobility sector. They aim to estimate future demand (passengers, vehicles, tons of goods) for an existing or planned infrastructure.

Traffic studies feed into financial models (traffic revenues, contributory capacity, financial structuring, economic feasibility) and socio-economic evaluations of projects.
Stratec has extensive experience in urban and interurban traffic modeling using various specialized tools (VISUM, TransCad, CUBE, EMME, etc.) or non-specialized ones (Excel, Python, R, etc.), for both large and small projects.
We closely follow technical developments in this field (synthetic populations, multi-agent models, etc.). We are convinced that there is no standard solution and that each problem deserves a specific solution depending on the challenges.
