Surveys
Surveys of the population or users of a transport mode are one of the primary tools for understanding mobility.
In Detail
Surveys can be conducted online, face-to-face, or by telephone, with a large sample or with key stakeholders (interviews). Experience is crucial for conducting surveys, as choices made upstream (selection and phrasing of questions) have repercussions downstream (data analysis and interpretation) without the possibility of going back.
From A to Z
Stratec masters all stages of conducting large-scale mobility surveys, from design to data analysis. Depending on the geographical areas and the issues involved, Stratec can conduct the field collection or sub-contract this part to a specialized partner.
Stratec also conducts qualitative surveys with stakeholders in the form of semi-structured interviews or focus groups. For 30 years, Stratec has also developed expertise in conducting stated preference surveys.
