Corridor analysis enables the assessment of a territory from a European perspective, beyond national performance.

Organising transnational transport systems in corridors form a network structuring the territory at the scale of the continent. This analytical framework was notably implemented successfully by the European Union, which defined corridors for its Trans-European Transport Network (RTE-T / TEN-T network) starting in 2013. Since 2014, Stratec has supported the European Commission in the development of its core network by leading or participating in the analysis of three RTE-T corridors, specifically the North Sea-Baltic corridor and the North Sea-Rhine-Mediterranean corridor.
Specifically, this involves monitoring corridor performance using specific KPIs, managing the list of projects of European significance, producing Corridor Work Plans with a political dimension and organizing working groups and forums with European transport stakeholders.
